What pressure does a garden hose nozzle develop when it is at it's highest rate of pressure from town water?
Question: In other words, if I activates the throttle on my spray nozzle from a city water supply of 40 psi, and I pinched the nozzle, the pressure is developed from this nozzle spout as it is limited by a small point?
Answer: In non-exclusive, the pressure would be the same: 40 psi. Hydraulics is a bit confusing until you get familiar with it. But the pressure will be the same throughout the system, particularly if it is not much water is allowed to circulate.
