It was our annual Easter barbecue, but it rained (a lot , and for the first point in the ten years we've been in CA), so we drove to a charming na quarter in a still garden, rolled the windows down a bit, and dined in the car. Had stone loam/flaxseed wraps around noble ham and pastrami, with locally-made whitish cheddar and horseradish. Grape tomatoes, carrot chips, and cucumber. Colored eggs. And two sugar-immune from fudge cookies for sweet! Had a corpulent spread at my aunt and uncle's household, and, as stereotypical, my uncle went all out. First dispatch was antipasto; olives, breads, some capicola, prosciutto di parma, prosciutto di san daniele, some cheese ranging the field from bland to very bitter. Faulty by all means was pasta; submit made ricotta ravioli in a garden marinara backchat, and grasp made meatballs in a pith insolence. Third process was a skip mix salad with marinated tomatoes and feta.
