What is the best option for backyard privacy?

Question: We just moved into a new house and a dilemma about the neighbors directly behind us. The neighborhood is very precise, but our neighbors all their junk all over their yard. It's really starting to bother me.

Answer: We had the same unruly home with my parents. My father has developed a large courtyard. We have a patio with a trellis on the side of the progressive "shield" us from these neighbors, but we also have trees and shrubs strategically placed throughout the backyard.

How privacy backyard around Birch River

I would like to have more privacy between our yard and my neighbors next to us. It is to the west, but to find the shade of a River Birch and Oak on our side and Bradford pear, on their side. Since it is so shady, I do not distinguish what to implement and use open space for a hammock between the River Birch and Oak. There are only about 5 feet from the court that we have in the back of the River Birch. Do you have any suggestions of privacy? I thought every few strategically placed mesh panels.The court, I would like to have privacy is only about 20 feet in size.
