Form Sen. Jane Earll's decision not to seek re-election after 16 years in room has opened an opportunity for the two major parties to claim the influential butt this year.

So far, no one has flat-out stated his or her intention to run.

But two possible GOP candidates have emerged to keep the 49th Division seat in Republican hands -- Janet Anderson, top dog director of the Northwest Pennsylvania Regional Planning and Development Commission; and counsel Jason Owen, a member of the Republican State Committee.

Recruitment is in full animated on the Democratic side, too, though three potential candidates have declined, said Bill Cole, chairman of the Erie County Representative Party.

One of those potential recruits was Erie lawyer Ronald DiNicola.

DiNicola said he was interested in competition for the state Senate seat, but he and his wife have three school-age children, ages 8 to 14. He said this would be a finicky time to be away from them.

My first educate-end plot hand-me-down a wigwagging arm setup. My jackshaft was not inline with the gudgeon points of the breed-end. Preferably, the jackshaft was inset by a few inches. It worked veritably well, but the pull on the control would alter with the manoeuvre of the bum-end and I would at times yield the trammel off the sprocket.
