In the happen suddenly of 1984, voice actor Dan Gilvezan walked into an audition for a half hour cartoon. Before he knew it, he would be part of what would pirouette into a long lasting, multi million dollar franchise.

Gilvezan provided the raise of Bumblebee in the hit animated series, Transformers. He has now written a book entitled “Bumblebee and Me: Vital spark As A G1 Transformer.” The book is a recollection by Gilvezan on his time during the series. He recalls playful stories, talks about his cast mates, working with voice numero uno Wally Burr, how he reacted to seeing the toy of Bumblebee in the store for the first point, and other stops along the way of Transformers history.

The book is a must read for fans of the series. Gilvezan’s theme style is engaging and makes you want to hear more about what he’s saying. The stories are terrific and really paint a picture of what the recording sessions were like. The post is a tad short, coming in at a grand total of 80 pages. That is the only blameworthy of the book. It leaves you wanting more. Gilvezan does mention in the encourage that the book is only meant to answer many of the frequent questions he gets from the fans in regards to what it was like during that notwithstanding.
