Why does my John deere riding lawn mower with a 12.5 Kawasaki engine only run well with the choke fully on.?

Question: I can not find an alignment screw on my Kawasaki 12.5 HP engine and only runs well on full obstruction and when it idle down it surges and poor is. Ideas?

Answer: Shtuka single shot of the first complex. 1) to flawless as you have a clean air filter, 2) a float bowl enpty (lower carb, if there is coax, it will not allow the right flow of gas.) 3) Check inevitable return of spring for carb / choke works.
